The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship 2025/26

CHEUNG Chun Kei of Department of Construction Management and Intelligence and YIP Pui Ying of Department of Rehabilitation Sciences were awarded The D. H. Chen Foundation Scholarship 2025/26. The Scholarship Programme celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2025. Professor Ben Young, Vice President (Student and Global Affairs), and Dr Laura Lo, Associate Vice President (Institutional Advancement), attended the Anniversary Celebration cum Award Ceremony on 15 November 2025, sharing the joy with the awardees.

With the vision to nurture compassionate and insightful leaders who drive positive social changes, the Scholarship Program offers comprehensive support to enhance the Scholars’ professional knowledge, personal insights and social aspirations. Each year, a maximum of 20 scholarships will be granted to local undergraduate degree students from the five Partner Universities, including PolyU. Each scholarship includes tuition waiver, means-tested living allowance and overseas learning allowance. 

 

On 18 June 2026, President Professor Jin-Guang Teng hosted the annual President's Roundtable, bringing together scholars from the 2024/25 and 2025/26 cohorts alongside Dr Laura Lo for an engaging exchange of learning experiences and insights.
