PolyU Sports Teams won three consecutive Grand Slam titles

In this year’s University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK) Inter-Collegiate Competitions, PolyU sports teams captured nine champions out of 22 sports competitions and nine student-athletes were named USFHK Most Valuable Players (MVPs). We snatched both the Yearly Men’s and Yearly Women’s Overall Championships that successfully defended for the Grand Slam three years in a row from 2017/18 to 2020/21 (all competitions were cancelled in 2019/20 due to the coronavirus pandemic).

USFHK Inter-Collegiate Annual Athletic Meet 2020/21 (11 & 25 Apr 2021)

PolyU Athletics Team won the Overall 1st Runner-Up in the Inter-Collegiate Annual Athletic Meet organised by The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK). Both men’s and women’s team captured the 1st Runner-Up, and a total of 2 new records were set.

PolyU Men’s Badminton Team won the 1st Runner-Up in the Inter-Collegiate Badminton Competition organised by The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK). The women’s team achieved the 5th place in the competition.

 

USFHK Inter-Collegiate Basketball Competition 2020/21 (1 May 2021)

PolyU Women’s Basketball Team won the Championship in the Inter-Collegiate Basketball Competition organised by The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK). The men’s team achieved the 5th place in the competition. Our women’s student-athlete, Ms LUI Shuk-yi was named the USFHK Most Valuable Player (MVP).

 

USFHK Inter-Collegiate Fencing Competition 2020/21 (12 & 13 Jun 2021)

PolyU Fencing Team won the Overall 1st Runner-Up in the Inter-Collegiate Fencing Competition organised by The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China (USFHK). The women’s team won the Champion and the men’s team captured the 2nd Runner-Up in the competition. Our women’s student-athlete, Ms Sophia WU was named the USFHK Most Valuable Player (MVP).
