Clubs & Associations
Full-time students are encouraged to enrich their campus life by taking part in activities organised by student organisations. Students are automatically members of their respective Faculty / School / College Student Association, as well as the corresponding departmental student society.
The Student Affairs Office (SAO) supports the annual elections of Faculty / School / College Student Associations and departmental societies, which are hosted by the respective faculties, schools, colleges and departments.
SAO also hosts non-local student associations and a wide range of affiliated interest clubs, offering students opportunities to connect, explore interests and develop new skills.
Annual membership recruitment is held at the beginning of each academic year during the Campus Life Festival.

Interest Clubs

Non-local Student Associations
Several non-local student associations have been established in affiliation with the Student Affairs Office (SAO) to support the non-local student community. Guided and empowered by SAO, these associations provide a platform for students to make new friends and share their university experiences. They also serve as strategic partners of the University, helping to foster an international culture that facilitates student integration. The diverse activities offered by these associations promote cross-cultural friendships and the exchange of ideas, contributing to a welcoming and enriching campus life for all students.

Korean Student Association (currently under suspension due to the absence of an Executive Committee for Session 2025/26. Interested Korean students should contact SAO directly at student.org@polyu.edu.hk should they be interested in reviving the Association. SAO remains open to supporting a future KSA that aligns with the University’s principles and values.)
