Green Living Programmes

In alignment with the University’s goals for sustainability, we created a Living and Learning Community called “Green Living”. We are focusing our residential programmes around this theme to bring awareness to sustainability issues and equip residents to develop a greater sense of civic responsibility for the environment.

Low Carbon Cooking Workshop

  • Educated students about low-carbon living and sustainable cooking practices
  • Provided hands-on cooking demonstrations to showcase practical ways of reducing carbon footprint
Intercultural Veggie Carnival

Intercultural Veggie Carnival

  • Explored worldwide vegetarian cuisine while engaging in unique traditions and activities
  • Engaged in diverse cultures through food tasting and cultural experiences
Enviornmental Promotion  Education Activities by EPDHK

Promotion & Education Activities  by Environment Protection Department Hong Kong

  • Raised awareness about environmental protection and sustainability
  • Promoted eco-friendly practices and behaviours from daily routines
Urban Farming

Urban Farming Workshop

  • Learned about local farming practices in Hong Kong and acquired knowledge of plant care
  • Planted vegetables and herbs within HH/HMT Hall, and experienced the farm-to-table process
