Five local undergraduate students — LAU Man Quan Belle and LEE Pui Shuen of School of Fashion and Textiles, NG Ching Man of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, SZE Tsoi Yiu of Department of Health Technology and Informatics, and YANG Tsz Yi of Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies — have been awarded the Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2026, jointly sponsored by HSBC and the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government.
This prestigious scholarship provides outstanding local undergraduates with the opportunity to broaden their international and Chinese mainland exposure, gain industry experience, and nurture their passion and commitment for science and technology. Each awardee receives up to HKD150,000 to participate in Overseas/Mainland Attachment Programme(s), including other features such as Mentorship Programme, Service Project Programme, Local Internship Programmes, and Ideations and Achievement Showcase, empowering them to pursue their dreams with innovative ideas and contribute to positive societal change.
