A. Important Notes
- The list of prohibited items in this Guideline is not exclusive. Hall residents who need and/or want to bring bulky items or electrical appliances into the halls, please complete the application form and send it to your Hall Warden for approval.
- For electrical products, please check the model no. and brand from the website of Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) and provide a print screen, or a copy of the certificate of the electrical product, to indicate that it complies with the safety requirements prescribed in the Electrical Products (Safety) Regulation.
- Hall Administration will review this guideline from time to time and reserves the right to update it as and when necessary and appropriate.
B. Guideline for electrical appliances and bulky items
1. Electrical Appliances of high wattage (over 2000 watts) or in bulky size are normally not allowed, unless with justification and supporting documents.
2. Luggage - maximum dimension allowed: 23.6”(L) x 19.6”(D) x 43.3”(H)/60cm(L) x 50cm(D) x 110cm(H)
| 3. Electric Fan: desktop fan with a diameter of less than 14” diameter is allowed. |
