Early withdrawal from any accommodation provided by the University shall be subject to an administrative charge. The administrative charge can be waived when a student fulfil one of the conditions stated in Section K Clause 3 of "Regulations Governing Hall Residence".

Students interested in University-managed Accommodations should read and agree to comply with the Regulations Governing Hall Residence and activate their PolyU net account first. Then submit the on-line application between 10 and 21 July 2026.

Applicants should understand that the preferences indicated in their application will not be guaranteed.

Once your application is successfully submitted, a confirmation reference number should be shown on the next page and you can find it at ‘Application Result’ in under ‘Student Halls’ in POSS. An email acknowledgement should also be sent to your PolyU email account. Should you fail to find it, please enquire with us at student.halls@polyu.edu.hk immediately.

Deadline of hall offer acceptance

7 Aug 2026

Applicants must indicate acceptance of hall offers in POSS by the deadline. Otherwise, their hall offers will automatically deemed declined.
Residential Period (for exchange students of Semester 1 of 2026/27 only) 25 Aug 2026 - 3 Jan 2027 Check-in information will be sent to your PolyU email account. Kindly note that request for check-in before 25 Aug 2026 or check-out after 3 Jan 2027 will NOT be considered.
Deadline for hall fees payment 8 Sep 2026

Timely payment of hall fee is required to secure your hall place.
Applicants must settle the debit note before the deadline, or their application will be cancelled automatically. The debit note can be downloaded from Student Account Portal
here.
