With CNY gift giveaways, game, and pig-cutting ceremony, the “CNY Blast,” hosted by the Non-local Student Services Team (NLSST) was a massive success! Held on 4 Mar 2026 at both Hung Hom and Homantin halls, the event drew around 560 students who came to soak up the festive atmosphere.
Students from diverse backgrounds tried their hand at the traditional Chinese lion dance and shared their New Year customs on display boards. It was a beautiful moment of cultural exchange!
Huge thanks to Prof. Horace Mui, Dean of Students, and Miss Joyce Cheung, the Section Head (Student Resources and Support) of SAO for joining our lion eye-dotting ceremony. We also want to thank the hall wardens for their support and our I-Peers (student leaders) for greeting everyone and spreading joy and gifts!
