Semester 1 was celebrated as a vibrant music festival as two of the affiliated clubs of SAO orchestrated a series of Music School Tours in partnership with leading Hong Kong record labels. With facilitation and ongoing guidance from the Student Development Section of SAO, student organisers developed practical skills essential for cross-unit coordination, balancing the expectations of both external industry partners and internal campus venue stakeholders, as well as managing on-site logistics. Bringing professional live music to campus, the three concerts enlivened our cozy university setting with high-quality music episodes of heartily embraced local singers.
Across the semester, the School Tours were held in collaboration with Sony Music, Asia Music, and Warner Music, attracting an accumulated audience of over 1,700 students. While each event featured different artists, they shared the same spirit of celebrating music, showcasing local talents, and fostering music appreciation among students. From soulful ballads to high-energy stage performances, the concerts filled an immersive and dynamic atmosphere, fueling students with excitement.
The overwhelming turnout and energetic responses from students reflected the strong demand for arts and cultural experiences on campus. Cheers, participation, and positive feedback successfully created a festive musical atmosphere.
