PolyU’s first Hybrid Career Fair took place in November 2022, with its physical fair held on 1 November at FJ, FG, and FC Wings on campus, and its virtual one between 1 and 25 November. With the theme of “Opportunities. Careers. Success”, the Fair served as a one-stop platform for students to explore graduate job and internship opportunities, kick-start their careers, and move one step closer to their career success. A total of 221 employers from different industries and sectors participated in the four-day Fair, and around 6,500 job vacancies were provided for PolyU students’ application.
Apart from physical/virtual booths, the Fair also featured around 20 online career talks and senior executive sharing sessions where senior executives/human resources experts shared their professional insights into industry trends and career information, and around 50 career advising sessions were conducted to help students improve their CVs and job hunt strategies.
