Four PolyU students have been awarded the Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2025, jointly sponsored by HSBC and the Innovation and Technology Commission. They are:

Mr CHIK Long Tin | BEng (Hons) Aviation Engineering |
Miss LEUNG Tze Ying | BA (Hons) English and Applied Linguistics |
Mr YAU Hayden | BBA (Hons) Accounting and Finance |
The Scholarships offer the outstanding local undergraduates the opportunity to widen their international/Mainland exposure, gain industry experience, and nurture their passion and commitment for science and technology. It is hoped that the awardees can pursue their dreams with their innovative ideas and help create positive changes to society. Each awardee can receive up to HK$150,000 to participate in a series of PolyU initiatives, including the Overseas/ Mainland Attachment Programme, Mentorship Programme, Local Internship Programme and Service Project Programme.
