PolyU Dragon Boat Activity cum Opening Ceremony Launched the Hall Festival 2025 with an Epic Opening! 🐉

On 2 November 2025, nearly 130 enthusiastic hall residents and staff gathered at Sai Kung, ready to conquer the waves together. Their spirit of unity and determination truly made the day unforgettable.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome speech from Prof. Horace Mui, Interim Dean of Students, setting an inspiring tone for Hall Festival 2025. He was accompanied by esteemed guests, including Miss Joyce Cheung, Dr Howard Kwong, Prof. Pearl Lin, Prof. Xiaolin Zhu and Prof. Thomas Lee.

Participants dove into training sessions focused on key techniques, followed by three rounds of exhilarating dragon boat fun races! It was a beautiful day filled with laughter and the invaluable experience of teamwork. This event perfectly showcased the heart of our hall life. ❤️

The journey ended with a specially arranged PolyU bus, ensuring everyone returned with smiles and great memories. A special shoutout to our dedicated event working group students for their incredible efforts in making this happen!
