EAGLE the Adventurers welcomed societal leaders, partners and guests to celebrate students’ achievements
On 3 November 2025, EAGLE welcomed over 110 students, society leaders, partners, and guests to recognise the achievements of EAGLE the Adventurers 2024/25. This year, 27 selected students led their own sustainable social innovation and co-creation projects, addressing a range of social challenges in Kathmandu, Nepal, with the local community.
Prof. Ben Young, PolyU’s Vice President (Student and Global Affairs), conveyed the University’s sincere appreciation for the steadfast support from the PolyU community, alumni, and partners. He also congratulated the remarkable achievements of the EAGLE the Adventurers 2024/25 cohort. He remarked, “you have shown the courage to explore, the openness to embrace new challenges, and the capacity to engage with diverse perspectives and reflect deeply. As you progress, I encourage you to carry these invaluable experiences forward: continue to pursue excellence, lead with purpose, and make meaningful contributions to society.”
The graduating cohort of EAGLE the Adventurers 2024/25 shared their leadership journeys through an engaging drama performance and short video presentations. Guests included CEOs, enterprise founders, faculty deans, department heads, society leaders, and alumni from the previous EAGLE the Adventurers 2023/24 cohort.
To conclude the evening, Prof. Horace Mui, Interim Dean of Students, introduced a series of new and impactful initiatives under the newly launched EAGLE Global Youth Leadership Hub. He added, “these initiatives reflect our unwavering commitment to nurturing future leaders who are ready to contribute locally and globally.”
