Dean of Students Talk Series: Enhancing Immunity via Physical Relaxation Techniques

Mr Roy Ngai, the Vice-President of Executive Committee Physical Fitness Association, Hong Kong China, delivered a talk titled “Enhancing Immunity via Physical Relaxation Techniques” on 28 October 2020

Mr Ngai shared with the audiences on how to maintain and improve the physical and emotional wellness during the COVID-19 outbreak, the fight-or-flight reaction to stress, how to exercise safely during the pandemic, and benefits of physical exercise. Apart from introducing and demonstrating progressive muscle relaxation techniques, Mr Ngai also showed videos of breathing exercise as well as high-intensity interval training exercises for beginners.

During the interactive Q&A session, the audiences were keen on asking questions related to enhancing fitness level, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and wearing facemask during workouts.
