The Bruker minispec LF90II Body Composition Analyzer uses the Time Domain Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (TD-NMR) technology to perform rapid in vivo measurements of lean tissue, body fat, and body fluid in live rodents or other samples (e.g. biopsy; food). The probe-in-probe design of LF90II enables the measurement from small samples like biopsies and newborn rodents to rats up to 800 g. This technique is extensively used in metabolism and nutrition laboratories and is a useful tool for characterizing, screening, and phenotyping mouse models.
