The Faculty of Applied Science and Textiles (FAST) has been renamed the Faculty of Science (FS) following the creation of the School of Fashion and Textiles (SFT) as an independent school. The FS is made up of three departments, namely the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology (ABCT), the Department of Applied Mathematics (AMA), and the Department of Applied Physics (AP). The repositioning of the Faculty will enable it to concentrate on its core focus of science.
