Prior to joining academia, Dr. Peng had accumulated 15 years of practical experience as a senior corporate executive.

He held management positions including Group VP and CHO at two Fortune Global 500 companies (Country Garden Group and Xiaomi Group), and developed deep expertise in both the technology and real estate industries.

He possesses a deep understanding of the cultural characteristics and management principles of enterprises with diverse ownership structures: state-owned enterprises (SOEs), private enterprises, and foreign-invested companies. Dr. Peng also brings dual perspectives from in-house enterprise management (as a client) and consulting services ( Willis Towers Watson) to his professional background.

He led the execution of multiple organizational transformation and human resources consulting projects, accumulating robust practical experience and effectively supporting enterprises in achieving rapid growth.
