Winslet received her PhD degree in Retail Management. Her research foci have been corporate social responsibility, green service in retail industry, green consumerism, and green supply chain management. She has published in the Production and Operations Management Journal, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management.  She has been presented the Outstanding Student Award by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to her post-graduate studies, Winslet worked in the retail sectors taking managerial positions.
