Qiyuan received his PhD in quantitative marketing from the University of British Columbia. His research mainly focuses on the value of online platforms, such as the online retailing platform, the sharing economy platform, and the online health platform. To investigate research questions in various contexts, he employs state-of-the-art methodologies, including structural modeling, causal inference, and machine learning.
