Three universities, 24 submissions and 100 participants came together at Hotel ICON from 10 to 12 July for the successful Fourth Joint University Summer Workshop on Information Systems (JUSWIS) 2026.
Hosted by the Information Systems (IS) group at the Department of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in partnership with The University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the fourth workshop featured thought-provoking plenaries by Professors Sue Brown and Suprateek Sarker, alongside focused paper-development sessions with internationally renowned editors from leading IS journals.
Faculty members and doctoral students exchanged ideas, received constructive feedback, explored frontier research directions, and strengthened connections across Hong Kong’s universities. Consultation sessions also enabled doctoral students and junior faculty members to seek personalized advice from guest advisors on research, publication strategies, and career development.
Our sincere thanks to the distinguished advisors, presenters, participants, and organizing teams who made JUSWIS 2026 a resounding success. Together, we are advancing rigorous, relevant IS scholarship and nurturing future researchers.
