Innovation is reshaping how we educate, research, and create value for business and society. As we navigate this transformative era, the Department of Management and Marketing remains committed to generating real-world impacts—on our students' careers, on business practice, and on society. Our vision is clear: to move beyond being a leading think tank and educator, to becoming an influencer that delivers tangible business and societal outcomes. We are building the Department as a "Business Impact Lab"—a place where ideas are tested, refined through experimentation, and translated into solutions with real market evidence. This bottom-up, experimental, and co-creative approach allows us to turn academic insights into actionable impact. Central to this endeavor is our partnership with our students and alumni, who possess curiosity, a discovery mindset, and diverse industry experience. They are the co-creators in our knowledge transfer initiatives. Through our programs, labs, and centres, we provide funding, pathways, and talent for colleagues to pursue business-impact projects that matter. Following our Faculty's motto of IDEAS—Innovation-Driven Education and Scholarship—we encourage every colleague and student to question the status quo and to discover, design, and deliver solutions of real-world impact. We believe that excellence emerges from a synergy of contributions, and we welcome ideas, suggestions, and even critiques from all. |
