Biography
Shining Wu is an associate professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests include sharing economy, behavioral operations management, queueing theory and its applications, inventory management, and data-driven decision making. His research has appeared in top journals including Operations Research and Management Science. He received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and B.S. in Statistics from Peking University, China. He is currently looking for self-motivated students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in operations management.
