Kee-hung Lai (Mike Lai) is Chair Professor of Shipping and Logistics and Director of the Shipping Research Centre at the PolyU Business School of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics and the Journal of Shipping and Trade. Prof. Lai is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He has authored Concise Introduction to Logistics Management in 2026 (ISBN: 978-1-0353-8540-9), co-authored seven books, and published 290+ journal papers (89.8% in Q1 journals on Scival), including 8 papers in the Financial Times Top 50 Journals.
