PolyU School of Accounting and Finance is known as one of the best colleges for Accounting and Finance in Asian countries. With a history dating back to 1972, we were the first one to provide a post-secondary accounting education for students in Hong Kong. Then in 1989, we became the first to offer a degree programme in accounting in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM) has recognized our Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Management programme and our graduates are eligible to apply for HKIHRM’s Associate Membership provided that they have passed, in addition to the core subjects, at least any three of the specialist subjects under the Human Resource Management (HRM) Concentration, including Employee Relations, Employment Law, Human Resource Management in China, International HRM, Reward & Performance Management, Staffing and Selection, and Training and Development. Graduates can also obtain exemption of relevant subjects from the professional examinations of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

PolyU Design Annual Show demonstrates students’ flair in design

Starting from 2013, PolyU School of Design stages Annual Show for showcasing the final-year projects of their students. The Show covers the design disciplines of advertising, digital media, environment & interior, industrial & product, visual communication. It is a celebration of our PolyU design students’ innovation and passion for design. It provides a platform for PolyU students, industry partners and members of the public to share their views on the making of good design.
