About CURI

What is CURI?

College of Undergraduate Researchers and Innovators (CURI) is a virtual college which provides support and guidance to students in acquiring new knowledge through conducting research. URIS participants have been automatically admitted to CURI as members.

 

CURI will organize some research related activities to nurture students’ research sense and ability. Members of CURI will be offered priority registration for CURI’s activities. Some example of CURI activities are:

 

  • Research seminars/ workshops
  • Student-initiated conferences/ seminars/ workshops
  • Lectures and talks by renowned researchers
  • Annual conference/ exhibitions on research projects

 

Vision and Mission

To strengthen enquiry-based learning among our undergraduate students and nurture the next generation of researchers and innovators.

To support and incentivise undergraduate students to undertake small-scale research projects with supervision from academic/research staff early in their studies.
