Equal Semester/Term for All RPg Students

The arrangement of equal semester/term is implemented for all RPg students with effect from 2021/22 academic year. Each academic year is divided into three equal semesters and term (i.e. 4 months for each semester/term) as follows:

The aims of such arrangement are to:

1. provide a clearer picture to RPg students on the key dates of their study milestones
2. better align the semester-based admission and administration with stipend/assistantship payment
3. facilitate the development of e-reminders for student progress and milestones

Nevertheless, RPg students should refer to the academic calendar issued by the Academic Registry (AR) regarding to learning and teaching activities including subject registration, timetabling, add/drop period, etc.
