The Department of Applied Mathematics extends its warmest congratulations to Miss ZHOU Hiu Yan, a Year 2 student in the Master of Science in Actuarial and Investment Science (63032) programme, on being named to the inaugural ASHK President’s List by the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK). The award was presented on 30 October 2026 at the Ageing Well Hong Kong 2026 Conference.
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students across all universities in Hong Kong, the ASHK President’s List recognises students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance in actuarial science, statistics, risk modelling, and related fields. Being selected as one of only five recipients across Hong Kong for this inaugural honour is a testament to Hiu Yan’s academic dedication and excellence in the MSc in Actuarial and Investment Science programme.
