Biography

 

Mr. Ken Liu is currently a Director at Daiwa Capital Markets, where he focuses on designing and developing an algorithmic trading platform powered by AI and machine learning. He is also the co-founder and CTO of Datatact Ltd, a startup that specializes in proprietary high-frequency trading and data-driven analytics.

With over 20 years of hands-on expertise in his field, Ken has previously held senior developer positions in electronic trading systems at Citi, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse.

In addition to his industry roles, he serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at HKU Space and a Lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University, where he teaches various AI-related finance courses, including an algorithmic and high-frequency trading course within a Master of Fintech program.
