Biography

Prof. Hailey Shin joined the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor in August 2021. Her research interests lie in human-technology interactions, corporate digital responsibility/irresponsibility, and technological innovation in the hospitality and tourism industry. She has been actively involved in various research projects and published her studies in top-tier hospitality and tourism journals, including Tourism Management and International Journal of Hospitality Management. Key highlights of her research/teaching outcomes include the Best Paper Award at international conferences (e.g., Asia-Pacific CHRIE Conference) in 2018, 2024, and 2025.
