Dr Hailey Shin joined the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor in August 2021. Her research interests lie in consumer behavior toward advanced technologies (e.g., AR/VR, robots), smart tourism, hospitality/tourism experience, and big data analytics. She has been actively involved in various research projects and published her studies in top-tier hospitality and tourism journals, including the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Journal of Travel Research. Key highlights of her research/teaching outcomes include the Best Paper Award at the Asia-Pacific CHRIE Conference in 2018.
