Kuok Group generously has pledged a donation to establish the Kuok Group Fellowship at PolyU. This highly prestigious and distinctive fellowship is designed for outstanding candidates worldwide with remarkable academic/research achievements.
A limited number of fellowships are available on a competitive basis for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 academic years. Priority will be given to environmental research areas when evaluating shortlisted candidates with similar qualifications.
Eligibility
In addition to meeting the university entrance requirements and English language requirements for PhD programmes, successful applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, high-quality international publications, outstanding references, and strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Scholarship Package
Successful applicants will receive the following package for the entire normal study period:
- Annual Stipend of HK$337,200
- Conference Grant of HK$25,000
- Research-related International Exchange Allowance of HK$20,000
- Research Excellence Scholarship in the form of a tuition fee waiver
- Cash Award to support research and living expenses
HK$40,000 in Year 1; HK$20,000 per year in the remaining normal study period - University Accommodation: Eligible hall place for 1 year. Please refer to this link for the hall admission policy and fees.

Eligible candidates can submit an application for 2026/27 Admission Exercise via the RPgAdmission on or before 27 March 2026 23:59 HKT (GMT +8 hours).
