FRC/SRC/DRC Chairs / delegates attending Communication Panel in Senate Room
The Graduate School (GS) organised a communication session on assessment and selection mechanism for Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2022/23 on 20 October 2021.
Previously, the GS conducted a review on the internal assessment and selection mechanism for the HKPFS based on findings drawn from data analytics of past PolyU HKPFS candidates, as well as advice from external advisors who are former members of the Research Grants Council's (RGC's) selection panels and research-teaching colleagues who supervise successful HKPFS awardees. New selection guidelines and mechanism have been drawn up for HKPFS 2022/23, and the GS invited feedback from FRC/SRC/DRC Chairs in early October.
We believe that with a detailed and explained mechanism and timeline, our concerted efforts will bring together more quality research postgraduate candidates to PolyU.
