The fourth Entrepreneurial Science Talent Workshop, co-hosted with the Industrial Centre (IC), concluded on 28 May at the Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Lab (W402).

Professor He Mingguang, Chair Professor of Experimental Ophthalmology from the School of Optometry (SO), demonstrated how AI-assisted non-invasive angiography is transforming diagnostic approaches in eye care.

Mr Jonathan Lee, Engineering Manager from the Industrial Centre (IC), provided practical guidance on utilising advanced AI tools and IC facilities to support research projects.

Participants gained hands-on experience through interactive trials of the AI-assisted angiography system.


The Graduate School, in collaboration with the Industrial Centre (IC), successfully hosted the fourth Entrepreneurial Science Talent Workshop on 28 May. This session featured Professor He Mingguang, Chair Professor of Experimental Ophthalmology from the School of Optometry (SO), who showcased how AI-assisted non-invasive angiography is revolutionising eye care diagnostics. He demonstrated the transformative potential of this technology in enhancing patient outcomes and bridging research with real-world applications.

Mr Jonathan Lee, Engineering Manager from IC, guided participants in harnessing cutting-edge AI tools and IC facilities to accelerate their projects. The workshop culminated in a hands-on trial of AI-assisted non-invasive angiography, giving attendees a glimpse into the latest medical technology.
