Platformized Language Teaching After GenAI: Teachers in Focus

How are online language teachers navigating today’s highly competitive platform landscape? What new challenges and opportunities does GenAI pose for online language teachers? These questions and more will be addressed in this whole-day hybrid symposium dedicated to the topic of language teaching in platform contexts. This first-of-its-kind symposium aims to foster vibrant discussion among various stakeholders in the platform teaching space.

The symposium will feature in-person talks by leading scholars, a documentary film screening followed by Q & A with the director, and practical insights from an industry expert. Participation is welcome from students, researchers, and current, former, or potential online language teachers. Participation is available both in-person and via Zoom, with in-person attendance limited to the first 100 registrants.
