We’re beyond excited to share that the Joint Universities Debate Championship (JUDC) 2026 was successfully held once again in collaboration with The Chinese University of Hong Kong English Debating Team (CUHKEDT)! 🎉

As one of Hong Kong’s most anticipated intervarsity debating tournaments, JUDC 2026 brought together passionate debaters and adjudicators from universities across the region. Over multiple rounds of British Parliamentary (BP)‑format debates, participants delivered sharp clashes and thoughtful exchanges that showcased both competitive excellence and intellectual camaraderie.

⚖️ Break Categories: Open Break, School Break, and Novice Break

With Open and Novice divisions, JUDC 2026 welcomed debaters of all experience levels — from rising newcomers to seasoned varsity speakers. The tournament also maintained inclusive eligibility standards for novices, ensuring that fresh voices had a chance to shine and grow.
