🧠 Online Workshop with WUDC Champions Sourodip Paul and Sajid Asbat Khandaker

In May 2024, the PolyU English Debate Club (EDC) hosted an inspiring online workshop featuring two distinguished speakers — Mr. Sourodip Paul and Mr. Sajid Asbat Khandaker.

Both are globally recognized debaters, celebrated as the Open Finals Champions of the Belgrade World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) 2022.

During the workshop, they shared invaluable insights into competitive debating — including strategies for building persuasive cases, actively engaging with opponents, presenting contextual background information, and using effective comparisons to convince audiences.

The session provided an exceptional learning opportunity for our members to refine their analytical and persuasive skills under the guidance of world‑class champions. 🌍💬
