ISE student succeeded in obtaining the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund with her creativity
Miss Vox Wong Ka-lai is a year 3 student of the BEng (Hons) programme in Product Engineering with Marketing who has been granted the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) of HK$100,000.
The fund is in recognition of creative ideas and comprehensive business proposals. Apart from the fund, the Cyberport provides invaluable support to the awardees, including professional advice and advanced facilities. Being granted the fund, Vox and her team will execute their business plan and then realize their ideas.
Vox expressed the view that the fund is a great opportunity and support for people who want to start their own business and realize their dream. The awardees not only get solid support, but they also obtain recognition and encouragement from the community.
She really feels that Hong Kong offers many opportunities for students to strive for their dreams. She will make the best use of her talent to continuously contribute to society.
The 11 groups of fund recipients, including Vox’s team, will each receive $100,000 each for proof of concepts and for developing prototype products within 6 months.
