Far from being merely immersive or surreal, learning in metaverse environments offers distinctive pedagogical affordances that can deepen students’ engagement and understanding. In this webinar, two colleagues will share how they designed and leveraged a metaverse-based learning environment to support students in developing transcultural knowledge and expressing emotional concepts meaningfully. The session will highlight key design principles, examples of student work, and practical insights for educators interested in using metaverse technologies to enrich teaching and learning.
