This seminar introduces meta-task awareness as a framework for rethinking educational design in the AI era. It explores how tasks can be deconstructed into cognitive components, clarifying the complementary roles of human judgement and AI capability. Strategies for redesigning teaching, learning activities, and assessment to emphasise critical thinking, reflection, and responsible AI use will be outlined.
Speaker bio
Dr. Wong Lung-Hsiang (黄龙翔) is Senior Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice, National Institute of Education, NTU Singapore, and Adjunct Professor at Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia. He earned his Ph.D. from NTU in 1998, specializing in artificial intelligence in education.
