Step into the future of higher education with GenAI 101, a self-paced program specifically designed for PolyU teachers. This course demystifies Generative AI, moving from foundational concepts and PolyU’s GenAI Policy to practical applications. Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to refine your digital toolkit, you will learn to master tools like Gemini, Doubao, and the ITS GenAI platform.

Over three modules, you will develop essential prompt engineering skills to create high-quality instructional materials. This course provides the perfect balance of pedagogy and hands-on practice, ensuring you can ethically and effectively integrate AI into your pedagogical workflow while upholding academic integrity.

The online course will run for two months, concluding on 31 August 2026. Once enrolled, you will receive an announcement email with instructions on how to access the platform. Participants are expected to dedicate 2–3 hours per week to their studies. Please note that while the course materials will remain accessible for two months after the official end date, any assessments completed during this extension will not count toward course completion.
