Biography

Yun (Yvonne) Yang, Ph.D., CHIA, is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from University of Houston and holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Business Management from Michigan State University.

Yvonne is an author of refereed journal publications and conference proceedings. She has taught Financial Accounting for Hospitality Industry and Finance for the Hospitality Industry at University of Houston and Boston University before joining SHTM.

Yvonne has industry experience in the areas of public relations, human resources, and accounting in various industries such as commerce consulting, auto finance, and hospitality. Inspired by her diverse industry experience, she has research interests in communication strategy and hospitality finance, and she brings data analytics experience and skills to her classroom.
