Biography

Dr. Richard Qiu is an SHTM PhD alumnus. After the completion of his PhD at SHTM, Dr Qiu joined the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Macau as an Assistant Professor in 2019. He returned to SHTM as an Assistant Professor in August 2022. Dr Qiu’s research interests covers tourist choice behaviour, tourism economics, and tourism demand modelling and forecasting. He has participated in a number of research and consultancy projects in the area of tourism economics and tourism demand modelling and forecasting.
