Preparing students for the future workplace
The future workplace demands university graduates to not only possess the technical knowledge required for the job, but also a wide range of attributes and competencies including good work attitude, strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, language proficiency, knowledge of current affairs and business issues, self-learning ability, self-confidence, information technology literacy, management skills and numerical competency. How can university study prepare students for future workplace? In this open forum, Dr Julia Chen (Director of Educational Development) will be joined by a panel of senior academic leaders and industry representatives to discuss this topic.
