Interprofessional Education for Collaborative Healthcare in Patient Management

Join us for an inspiring sharing session where colleagues from the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (FHSS) will showcase findings from their innovative interprofessional (IP) learning activity. Discover how they integrated digital health solutions into healthcare education using real-life community diabetes management scenarios to foster collaborative, patient-centered care among nursing and physiotherapy students.

This session is your opportunity to:

  • Gain Practical Insights: Learn concrete ideas from Prof. Chan and Prof. Ngai on incorporating technology and fostering essential interprofessional collaboration within your own teaching.
  • Understand the Impact: Hear key findings on how this IP approach enhances student preparedness for modern healthcare challenges and improves patient care outcomes.
  • Foster Collaboration: Engage in interdisciplinary dialogue with colleagues to explore how we can collectively advance healthcare education at PolyU.
