This session will explore how GenAI tools can be used by teachers in their assessment practices, specifically focusing on task design and feedback provision. We will look at real-life experiences, the effectiveness of AI-generated feedback and grades based on a rubric, and the potential for a system that allows teachers to provide constructive and timely feedback to students using GenAI. Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange views on the ethical considerations of using GenAI in this way.
