摘要

SSLD (Strategies and Skills Learning and Development) is an intervention system designed for human service in hte post-professional era, which is characterized by blurring inter-professional boundaries and emergence of new forms of service delivery and practice.  The post-professional condition is marked by the combined challenges of technological innovation, late capitalism, and a rapidly changing pracitce environment.

Prof. Ka Tat TSANG

Professor of Social Work at the University of Toronto

Ka Tat TSANG, Ph.D., is Professor of Social Work at the University of Toronto since 1993. His transdisciplinary research combines conventional and creative forms of knowledge production in human service, and diversity and global community, with active integration of theory and research. His major activities include (1) development and testing of direct practice model and programs (e.g., SSLD), (2) building a knowledge base for human service in the postprofessional era, and (3) research and development of service programs for the diverse communities in Canada and internationally. He is currently PI (principal investigator) and Co-PI on several studies, including a study on mental health through interdisciplinary collaboration between China and Canada.
