The School has been preparing outstanding students for challenging careers in nursing for four decades. It was Hong Kong’s first tertiary educational institution to offer a nursing degree programme, and remains a pioneer in nursing education in Hong Kong.

Master of Science in Nursing

This programme aims to offer experienced registered nurses the opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge, understanding and competencies for advanced practice roles.

Master of Nursing

The programme prepares students for registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong as Registered Nurses and to acquire the attributes to become future leaders in the profession.

Master of Science in Disaster Management (Resilience Response and Relief)

Joint award from both PolyU and the University of Manchester, UK

Master of Philosophy

The programmes are intended for health care professionals who want to develop their research knowledge and skills.

Doctor of Philosophy

The programme prepares students for registration with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong as Registered Nurses and to acquire the attributes to become future leaders in the profession.
