The "Exploring China" initiative enables PolyU students to venture into new environments, gaining a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and cultural landscapes of Mainland China, Macao, and Taiwan. These typically short-term programmes are offered during winter and summer, with some being credit-bearing and most focusing on cultural immersion rather than academic credits.

Financial support is available for individual programmes. The HKSAR Government Subsidy is available to eligible students undertaking activities/programmes in Mainland China, Macao, and Taiwan. Please refer to the briefing note for details.

Seize the chance to expand your knowledge beyond your professional field, hone your teamwork and communication skills, and tackle challenges head-on! Stay updated on the latest programme details, eligibility and application deadlines by visiting our Exploring China page regularly.
