Flag-Raising Ceremony cum “Confucius” Documentary Screening

To celebrate the 29th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will hold a flag-raising ceremony on 1 July 2026. In addition, a screening of the documentary "Confucius" will be held at the Jockey Club Auditorium following the flag-raising ceremony. The documentary screening is one of the events of this year’s PolyU Chinese Culture Festival, which launched in March. It aims to strengthen connections among staff, students, alumni, and PolyU friends, and deepen the younger generation’s understanding of the Nation.

2. "Confucius" Documentary Screening       

Time: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm      

Venue: Jockey Club Auditorium

Synopsis:

在五千多年文明發展進程中，中華民族創造了博大精深的燦爛文化。孔子作為中國著名的思想家、政治家、教育家，創立的儒家學說是中國傳統文化的重要組成部分，對中華民族價值體系的形成及發展有著極其深刻的作用和影響。紀錄片《孔子》由淺入深，以非常質樸的影像語言娓娓道來，對孔子進行了生動而傳神的國際化影像呈現。
