ACCA Charitable Foundation Limited joins hands with PolyU to combat COVID-19 pandemic

On 27 August 2020, PolyU held an appreciation event to express its gratitude to the ACCA Charitable Foundation Limited for donating 5,000 face shields, designed by PolyU, to 16 NGOs. These shields provide extra protection to frontline social workers and healthcare workers in their workplace.  The face shields provide full-face coverage and help to protect the wearers from the spread of droplet-transmitted diseases.  Professor Alexander WAI Ping-kong, PolyU Deputy President and Provost (second from right), presented the certificate of appreciation to Mr Kenneth Wong (middle), Chairman of ACCA Hong Kong, and Ms Jane Cheng (second from left), Head of ACCA Hong Kong.
